The Bomb Squad consists of bomb technicians from the Linn County Sheriff's Office and the Marion Police Department who are highly trained explosive experts who carry out the inspection, deactivation, and safe removal of explosive devices. They also conduct bomb sweeps, safely destroy unused ammunition, commercial explosives, and fireworks.
