The Special Response Team (SRT), also know as a SWAT Team, is a paramilitary unit consisting of highly trained deputies who tackle situations beyond the capability of conventional law enforcement officers. SRT is called in when an incident presents significant risk to law enforcement officers or the public. SRT is an elite unit within our Sheriff's Office and is used for exceptional situations that require specialized weapons and tactics.
