School Resource Officer

The roles and responsibilities of the school resource officer (SRO) vary from school to school. A SRO has a diverse role in the school and community and has many duties and responsibilities. Some functions served by the SRO include: law enforcement officer, public safety specialist, community liaison, problem solver, law-related educator, and positive role model. Our SRO works with the Alburnett, Center Point, Central City, North Linn, and Springville schools.
