Coggon Commercial Historic District

In 2019, the Linn County Historic Preservation Commission and Wapsi Valley Archaeology partnered to nominate the Coggon Commercial Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places. A story map was created during that nomination process to help the community of Coggon visually convey a piece of its history and the role it played in making Linn County what it is today. The nomination is still under review by the National Park Service.
