What We Do

The Risk Management Department works with other Linn County departments to:

  • Identify, control, and minimize loss exposures 
  • Handle accident and liability claims involving Linn County-owned property, striving to process citizen claims in a prompt, efficient, and equitable manner
  • Provide safety, regulatory, and training guidance for all Linn County government employees
  • Review and process applications for consumer and display fireworks permits.
