Shooting Range Permits
A Matsell Bridge Shooting Range permit is required to use the range. Ranges and shooting stations are available on a first come-first serve basis.
Daily shooting range permits
Daily permits can be purchased at an on-site kiosk for $10.
Annual shooting range permits
Calendar year annual permits are available for purchase online for $50. Once registration has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. This email is your permit. You must print and have this email posted at your shooting station. Annual permits can NOT be purchased on site.

Archery
A small archery area is available next to the 15-yard shooting range. Targets, which must be brought in by the user, may be placed in front of the termination berm. The annual permit/daily user fee applies.
Hours
The shooting range is closed January and February, then reopens when weather conditions allow, typically mid-March.
The shooting range opens at 8 a.m. daily, closing times vary with the season:
- 4:30 p.m. - March (when conditions allow for opening) until daylight savings time begins
- 6:00 p.m. - March after daylight savings time begins
- 7:30 p.m. - April through September 15
- 6:00 p.m. - September 16 until daylights savings time ends.
- 4:30 p.m. - Daylight savings time end through December 31.
