Parks, Trails and Natural Areas

The Linn County Conservation Board manages 29 areas of over 8,000+ acres in the form of parks, preserves, natural areas, and linear parks (trails). 94% of Linn County's properties are natural or undeveloped.

Linn County Conservation continues to provide an abundance of recreational opportunities that include camping, hiking, geocaching, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, fishing and hunting. These areas include over 100 miles of trail, over 300 campsites, an observatory, an award-winning nature center, an arboretum, a watercraft rental facility, a modern shooting range and high-quality educational programming.
