Linn-Mar Community School District

The Linn-Mar Community School District has called for a Special Election to be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to put a Physical Plant Equipment Levy public measure before the voters.

Linn-Mar Community School District voters in Maine Township precinct and Brown-Linn precinct will vote at the Marion First United Methodist Church in Marion due to having fewer than 25 voters in the school district combined.

Marion Independent School District

The Marion Independent School District has called for a Special Election to be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, to put a Physical Plant Equipment Levy public measure before the voters.

City of Hiawatha

The City of Hiawatha has called for a Special Election on March 5, 2024, to fill a council member vacancy. 

Candidate paperwork must be filed with the Linn County Auditor's Office by 5 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024. See the candidate packet for more information.

On election day, voters will vote at their general election polling places open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. 

A satellite will be held on February 27, 2024, from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Marion Independent High School, 675 S 15th ST in Marion.
