Central City Community School District
The Central City Community School District has called for a Special Election to be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, to put a public measure before the voters.
On election day, voters will vote at the Falcon Civic Center which is located at 137 4th Street N in Central City and will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Important Dates and Items:
- Pre-registration for voter registration ends Monday, August 28, 2023, at 5 p.m. (PDF)
- Absentee ballot request forms (PDF) must be received in the office by Monday, August 28, 2023 at 5 p.m.
- Early in-person absentee voting for the special election will begin on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, and end at 5 p.m. on Monday, September 11, 2023.
- Absentee ballots MUST be received in our office or ballot drop box by the close of polls on election day to be considered for counting.
- Polling places will be open on election day from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m.

The last day our office can receive an absentee ballot request form (PDF) is Monday, August 28, 2023 by 5 p.m.
Absentee ballots MUST be received in our office or ballot drop box by the close of polls on election day.
The deadline to request a satellite is Friday, August 11, 2023 by 5 p.m.
Requesting a satellite can be accomplished by gathering 100 signatures on a petition form requesting a satellite at a location described on the petition form.
