Fresh Conversations

Fresh Conversations is a free nutrition and physical activity education program for individuals over 60 years of age. Each month, individuals can gather in communities to discuss current nutrition and health topics, taste low-cost healthy recipes and discover new ways to stay active and independent. 

Fresh Conversations is a program supported by the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, and Linn County Public Health is a proud facilitator of the program at a local level in these counties:

  • Benton
  • Cedar
  • Johnson
  • Jones
  • Linn
  • Iowa

All individuals in any of these communities are welcomed to attend a Fresh Conversations meeting. To learn more about class times and locations, email Linn County Public Health or call 319-892-6000.
