Clinical Services is a division of Linn County Public Health providing a wide variety of health services to the public by assisting with disease prevention, health promotion, and health protection.
The goal of the Clinical Health Services team is to provide excellent health services to all individuals regardless of age, race, immigration status, or insurance status.
Appointments are preferred for the Linn County Public Health Clinic and can be scheduled by calling 319-892-6093. Linn County Public Health is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Dr. Pope has been with Linn County Public Health since 1990 serving as the Medical Advisor and working in the clinic to diagnosis and treat tuberculosis and sexually transmitted infections. Dr. Pope also provides travel medicine consultations, PrEP consultations and therapy, and is authorized by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as a civil surgeon to perform the medical exams required for most Green Card applicants.
Nicole Pruchno, ARNP
Nicole consults with newly arrived refugees to ensure their health status for a successful transition into our community. In addition, she will diagnosis and treat tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, and provide medical consultation to individuals traveling outside of the country. She is a certified family nurse practitioner through the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification.
