Health Services
Clinical Services is a branch of Linn County Public Health providing a wide variety of health services to the public by assisting with disease prevention, health promotion, and health protection.
The goal of Clinical Health Services is to provide excellent health services to all individuals regardless of age, race, immigration status, or insurance status.
Appointments are preferred for the Linn County Public Health Clinic and can be scheduled by calling 319-892-6093. Linn County Public Health is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

- Sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing and treatment
- HIV testing and referral services
- PrEP Therapy to help prevent HIV infection in individuals at high risk for infection
- Immunizations for children and adults
- International travel clinic
- Tuberculosis testing
- Hepatitis services
- School and sports physicals
- Vaccine verification for refugees needing a green card
- Civil surgeon services for Change of Status exam for immigrants applying for a green card

Dr. Pope
Dr. Pope has been with Linn County Public Health since 1990 serving as the Medical Advisor and working in the clinic to diagnosis and treat tuberculosis and sexually transmitted infections. Dr. Pope also provides travel medicine consultations, PrEP consultations and therapy, and is authorized by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) as a civil surgeon to perform the medical exams required for most Green Card applicants.

Nicole Pruchno, ARNP
Nicole consults with newly arrived refugees to ensure their health status for a successful transition into our community. In addition, she will diagnosis and treat tuberculosis, sexually transmitted infections, and provide medical consultation to individuals traveling outside of the country. She is a certified family nurse practitioner through the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification.
