Expungement Clinic and Resource Fair
Linn County, IowaWORKS, Iowa Legal Aid, and Advocates for Social Justice are holding the county’s fourth Expungement Clinic and Resource Fair on Saturday, April 30, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the IowaWORKS location in the lower level of Lindale Mall (4444 1st Ave. NE #436, Cedar Rapids).
The purpose of the expungement clinic and resource fair is to help people overcome barriers to housing, employment, and education and to learn about the various assistance programs and resources available throughout the community.
Expungement of Eligible Iowa Records
Meet with Iowa Legal Aid representatives to potentially clear your Iowa criminal record, free of charge. Appointments are required for this service and must be made by April 22.
Job and Resource Fair
Visit the resource fair to connect with resources and service providers who offer housing, food, healthcare, education, and financial assistance.
The job fair includes employers that hire individuals with criminal records. The public is welcome and previously incarcerated individuals are highly encouraged to attend. No appointment is necessary to visit the job and resource fair.

Kids Care
Kids care is available from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the Expungement Clinic and Resource Fair. Please fill out the kids care request form if you are interested in this service.
Transportation
Transportation service is available to and from the clinic. Please fill our the transportation request form to request a ride.
