A bridge deck overlay project on Boy Scouts Road over the Wapsipinicon River in Waubeek is scheduled to start August 14, 2023. The project is expected to take approximately 3-5 weeks. A bridge replacement project on Coggon Road over Walton Creek is scheduled to start June 26, 2023. The project is expected to last 4-5 months. Coggon Road will be closed to all traffic approximately 1,500 feet east of Seven Hills Road. A detour will be posted for this project. Central City Road at the Sutton Road intersection is expected to be opened later this afternoon. The upgraded railroad crossings will be complete.

Central City Road just east of Rath Road was opened on Friday. As planned, Central City Road will be closed tomorrow (18th) at the Sutton Road intersection for more railroad crossing repairs. The work is expected to be completed by Friday (21st). The entire intersection will be closed and there is a posted detour.

Due to safety concerns from dust, Rath Road is now closed to through traffic. Rath Road is expected to be opened on Friday when the railroad crossing work on Central City Road is also completed.

Central City Road is closed between Rath Road and Highway 13 for a railroad crossing upgrade. The work is expected to be completed by Friday (14th).

Starting Tuesday (18th), our contractor will upgrade the railroad crossing at the Central City Road & Sutton Road intersection. The entire intersection will be closed for approximately 1 week (18th-21st).

Road construction on Prospect Drive is scheduled to begin on July 16th. Prospect Drive is the new road connecting Highway 13 and County Home Road and will provide access to the Prospect Meadows athletic complex currently under construction.
