“It is my hope to lay out a vision of government that addresses the hard problems in our communities, and helps as many people as we can along the way,” said Supervisor Walker. “Now more than ever, people need a reminder that government can do good work and can be a catalyst for progressive change.”
The event is open to the public. Tickets are required to reserve a seat for lunch. Free seating is available for those who wish to listen to the presentation and not eat lunch.

The State of the County Luncheon is hosted by the League of Women Voters of Linn County. Tables of 10 are available for $400 and individual tickets are $40. Please visit the League of Women Voters website for more information or to reserve a table. The reservation deadline is May 1. Sponsorships still are being accepted.
Funds raised by the State of the County event are used to support League of Women Voters sponsorship and facilitation of non-partisan voter-education materials and forums.
