[ARCHIVED] Election Services open next two Saturdays for absentee voting for General Election

The Election Services Department of the Linn County Auditor’s Office will be open Saturday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Nov. 1 in support of the Nov. 4, 2014 General Election. Absentee ballots will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both Saturdays. These hours are in addition to the normal Monday through Friday office hours for absentee voting. The Election Services Department is located at the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 2nd St. SW in Cedar Rapids.

In addition to voting at the Auditor’s Office, the following three satellite voting stations will be operating on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.:

Hy-Vee Oakland Rd., 3235 Oakland Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids
Hy-Vee Wilson Ave., 20 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids
Hy-Vee Edgewood Rd., 5050 Edgewood Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids

Pre-Registration Deadline
Oct. 25 is the last day to pre-register to vote for the General Election.

Friday, Oct. 31 Last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed
