Linn County Supervisor Jim Houser, from District 1, was sworn in to office today, January 2. Houser previously served on the Linn County Board of Supervisors for 19 years until 2010. Incumbent Supervisor John Harris, District 5, was sworn in to office Dec. 18, 2014. The Board of Supervisors today also selected Supervisor Linda Langston, District 2, to serve as Board chairwoman and Supervisor Ben Rogers, District 3, to serve as vice chairman for 2015.
Other Linn County elected officials sworn in to office today were Linn County Attorney Jerry Vander Sanden and Linn County Recorder Joan McCalmant. Linn County Treasurer Sharon Gonzalez was sworn in to office Dec. 18, 2014.
