It may be cold outside, but it’s time to think spring and begin planning those summer gardens and landscape projects. The Linn Soil and Water Conservation District is here to help with its 2015 native wildflowers and prairie grass order forms.
Iowa wildflowers invite bees, songbirds, butterflies, and other “critters” to our gardens. Prairie wildflowers and grasses make excellent garden and landscaping plants. By planting Iowa native plants, you can help preserve these unique species, create wildlife habitat, and enjoy a self-sufficient garden.
Orders must be received by March 23, 2015.
