Linn County Conservation campgrounds will open for the season at 8 a.m. on Friday, April 9. Whether you have been anxious to reconnect with nature, get away from the hustle and bustle, or spend some quality time with family, Linn County Conservation has several options available for you to enjoy your next camping experience.
Modern campgrounds will open at Buffalo Creek Park, Morgan Creek Park, Pinicon Ridge Park and Wanatee Park
- Campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with the exception of Wanatee Park A-loop, which are reserved online at least 4 days in advance of the date.
- All campers must self-register and pay the required Camping Fee.
- No camping party or unit may occupy any campground more than 14 days out of any 21 day period.
- Each modern campsite has water and electric hookups (20, 30 and 50 amp), a fire ring with grill, and picnic table.
- A dumping station is available in each campground.
- Firewood is available for sale, typically near the campground host site.

- Modern campgrounds close for the season October 15. Favorable weather will allow the campgrounds to stay open longer.
- Group camping opportunities at Pinicon Ridge Park, Morgan Creek Park, and Wickiup Hill Learning Center can be reserved online at least 4 days in advance of the date.

Social distancing guidelines should be observed in the campground, as well as other areas of the park. Please wear a mask when in close contact with others. Practice safe hygiene by using sanitizer or soap and water when available.
