Linn County Board of Supervisors Awards $165,000 in Economic and Community Development Funds

The Linn County Board of Supervisors recently awarded $165,000 in economic and community development funding to 12 Linn County organizations. 

“As stewards of these dollars, it is our responsibility to invest in community projects that will have a broad impact on the quality of life of Linn County residents. We are pleased to support these diverse organizations and the work they do to help our community grow,” said Linn County Supervisor Chair Stacey Walker

Twenty-five organizations applied for funding with requests totaling almost $500,000. 

The Linn County Economic and Community Development Fund was established to foster and support economic growth and enhance quality of life in Linn County. This is an annual competitive application process. For more information, visit LinnCounty.org/EconomicDevelopment
