The Linn County Conservation Board has released its 2021 Annual Report, providing fiscal year 2021 information (July 1, 2020 - June 30, 2021) as well Conservation program activity during the 2021 calendar year.
COVID-19 has brought challenges for many, and Linn County Conservation has recognized our local parks, trails, and natural areas continue to be an outlet and resource for mental and physical health benefits in the midst of this pandemic. The Department continues to advance projects to address the quality of water in our rivers and streams, improve park infrastructure, and develop trails for our community. The report highlights efforts in restoring or woodlands following derecho, Morgan Creek Park redevelopment, trail development, natural resource enhancements, conservation education, and more.
