Linn County Roadside Manager Rob Roman will be a presenter during a free native plant seminar Saturday, June 20 at the Cedar River Garden Center, 2889 Palo Marsh Road in Palo. The event is from 10 -11 a.m.
Following the program, take a tour of native seed production plots planted at the garden center in 1999 and 2002 and walk through a 35-acre native prairie reconstruction in its 24th growing season, planted with 50 species along the roadway at the Pleasant Creek State Recreation Area.
