A reconstruction project is scheduled for Thursday, July 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on County Home Road. The project consists of replacing and repairing the existing curbs on the roundabout at the Alburnett Road intersection. The new curbs will be mountable curbs to accommodate large agriculture equipment navigating the roundabout. The project is expected to take one day. If additional time is needed, the closure will extend through Friday, June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The roundabout at County Home Road and Alburnett Road will be closed to all traffic during the project. A detour will not be posted for this project, but electronic sign boards noting the closure will be in place starting July 1.
Drivers are reminded to comply with all traffic signs around construction projects. Do not drive around the barricades in place to protect the public and road crews.
