Some Linn County government offices are experiencing intermittent phone issues that are interfering with receiving and making external calls. The issue is resulting in audio cutting in and out and dropped calls. Linn County is working with its phone service vendor to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Currently, there is no estimated time of restoration. Another notice will be issued once phone connectivity is restored. This issue is not impacting 911 emergency communication services.

Today is the deadline to pay property taxes. Property taxes can be paid online at www.iowataxandtags.org or by using the drop box at the Linn County Jean Oxley Public Service Center located at 935 2nd St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
