A bridge replacement project on Sutton Road is scheduled to begin Monday, August 17. The bridge is located on Sutton Road approximately 1 mile north of the Wapsipinicon River. The road will be closed to traffic for the duration of the project.
The project consists of replacing the current structurally deficient bridge with a 30’ x 100’ continuous concrete slab bridge at a contract cost of $417,953.00.
The contractor, Jim Schroeder Construction, Inc. of Bellevue, IA anticipates a completion date of November 13, 2015.
