Linn County Recognized as U.S. Best-in-Class Employer by Gallagher

Linn County Named Best in Class Employer

Linn County was recently recognized as a Best-in-Class Employer that enhances employee and organizational wellbeing through innovative organizational structures, workplace policies, and total rewards, which inclusively engage and motivate its employees.

The recognition comes from Gallagher's U.S. Best-in-Class Benchmarking Analysis. Gallagher’s Best-in-Class awards recognize employers that excel in supporting their employees’ physical, emotional, career, and financial wellbeing for better organizational outcomes. Linn County scored in the top 10% of the more than 4,000 large and midsize employers who participated in Gallagher’s 2022 Benefits Strategy & Benchmarking Survey.

“This award recognizes Linn County’s commitment to supporting better employee wellbeing and building a resilient organizational culture. Our Customer-Centered Culture and our core values are among our top priorities. We believe supporting our workforce builds our overall organizational strength and resilience and provides a more positive experience for our customers,” said Linn County Human Resources Director Lisa Powell.

Employers earning Best-in-Class showed strong interest in helping their workforce learn and relate to the organization’s vision, mission, and values, and supporting a strong culture.

Designations like Gallagher’s Best-in-Class Employer help current and potential employees understand and appreciate an organization’s workplace culture and people strategy; important differentiators as employers compete for talent in a tight labor market.

Gallagher's U.S. Best-in-Class Benchmarking Analysis profiles statistically significant attributes of top-performing midsize (100-999 FTEs) and large employers (1,000 or more FTEs).
