[ARCHIVED] Linn County Offices Closing at Noon Feb. 22 Due to Ice Storm

MOST LINN COUNTY OFFICES CLOSING AT NOON FEB.22 DUE TO STORM

Due to the ice storm impacting the area, most Linn County offices will close at noon today, Feb. 22, 2023. Offices will remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.

The Linn County Auditor’s Office will remain open until 5 p.m. Feb. 22, 2023 for those voting early in-person absentee in the March 7, 2023 Special Election.

The following services will continue to operate:

  • Juvenile Detention and Diversion Services
  • Mental Health Access Center
  • Linn County LIFTS remains open; however, there is no rural service.
  • The Sheriff’s Office will be closed; however, continuous operations will be available for routine and emergency responses. This includes the Patrol Division, Communications Division and the Correctional Center. In an emergency, always dial 911.
