The Linn County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on March 29, 2023, at 10 a.m. to set the total maximum property tax levy for the fiscal year 2024 budget. The public hearing will be held at the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 2nd St. SW in Cedar Rapids. This is the rescheduled date for the public hearing that was postponed due to the passage of SF 181. At the public hearing, any resident or taxpayer may present objections to, or arguments in favor of, the proposed tax levy.

After adopting the proposed tax levy, the Board of Supervisors will publish notice and hold a final public hearing to adopt the County’s FY24 budget.

Fiscal year 2024 begins July 1, 2023, and ends June 30, 2024.
