[ARCHIVED] Linn County Public Health Offering STI Testing Incentive April 17-21

April marks Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) Awareness Month, and Linn County Public Health is offering an incentive for individuals to get STI testing.

To encourage residents to get tested for STIs, Linn County Public Health is offering $10 gift cards to anyone who gets tested between April 17-21. Individuals must call and schedule an appointment at 319-892-6093. Limited appointments are available and gift cards are offered while supplies last.

Individuals who should consider getting tested include:

  • Anyone who is sexually active, regardless of sexual orientation, type of sexual activity, and sexual history
  • Anyone who has had a change in their sexual partner
  • Anyone who is experiencing STI symptoms
  • Anyone who wants to know their status
