Linn County is looking for high school students who want to help build resiliency in Linn County!
The Climate Resiliency Corps seeks to engage high school students in experiential learning through volunteer engagement and a student-led climate resiliency community project.
Each year, a total of 20 students from across Linn County will be selected to participate in this program. This program focuses on building students' skills in sustainability, resiliency, and leadership by asking students to develop and implement a community project that builds climate resiliency.
Projects can include assisting in energy efficiency and waste reduction projects, connecting their community to local food systems, improving greenspaces, along with many other projects.
Linn County Sustainability’s Climate Resiliency Corps was created in the fall of 2023 to engage students in building resiliency in Linn County.
Rolling applications will be accepted until Jan. 21, 2024.
