[ARCHIVED] Iowa’s Living Landscapes: Rights-of-Way Workshop March 15

Linn County is hosting the 7th annual Iowa’s Living Landscapes Rights-of-Way Workshop on March 15, 2016 in the Ballantyne Auditorium at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. Workshop presenters will cover a range of topics including responding successfully to changing climate conditions, water quality, community green spaces, wildlife habitats, and roadside vegetation – including native plants.

The workshop is open to the public and is an opportunity for partnerships and communication to address challenges and opportunities for Iowa’s living landscapes.

There is no cost for the workshop, which runs from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Participants are on their own for lunch. To register, call (319) 892-6458 or email [email protected] by March 11.

Linn County has received funding from Iowa’s Living Roadway Trust Fund to sponsor this program.
