A paving project is scheduled to begin Monday, May 9 on Squaw Ridge Road and Lakeside Road from East Post Road east three miles to Iowa Highway 13. The road will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the project. The project is expected to take 5-7 weeks for completion.
The project consists of an 8-inch concrete overlay over the existing surface on Squaw Ridge Road and Lakeside Road. There will also be a 3-inch asphalt overlay on Squaw Creek Road from Squaw Ridge Road south to Squaw Creek Circle. The contractor, Horsfield Construction, Inc. of Epworth, Iowa estimates a completion date of June 20.
