Linn County recently earned the Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting award from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) of the United States and Canada. This is the 18th consecutive year Linn County has received this award.

This national award recognizes state and local governments that successfully extract information from their comprehensive annual financial report to produce a high quality popular annual financial report specifically designed to be readily accessible and easily understandable to the general public.
