The Election Services Division of the Linn County Auditor’s Office will be open on Saturday, October 29 and Saturday, November 5 in support of the November 8, 2016 General Election. Absentee ballots will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturdays. These hours are in addition to the normal Monday through Friday office hours for absentee voting. The Election Services Division is located at the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 2nd St. SW, Cedar Rapids.
In addition to voting at the Auditor’s Office, the following three satellite voting stations will be operating on Saturday, October 29 from 9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m. in Cedar Rapids:
Hy-Vee Oakland Rd, 3235 Oakland Rd NE
Hy-Vee Wilson Ave, 20 Wilson Ave SW
Hy-Vee Edgewood Rd, 5050 Edgewood Rd NE
Pre-Registration Deadline
October 29 is also the last day to pre-register to vote for the General Election.
