On April 21, clients, family members, staff and others close to the Options of Linn County program gathered to celebrate another year of achievement.
“For over 50 years this program has been providing quality services to the disability community,” said Options Director Jim Fox. “This is our way of saying thank you to all of our clients. We love what we do every day, and they are the reason.”
Amy Johnson, former Linn County supervisor, served as the Master of Ceremonies.
Longevity certificates and trophies were awarded to clients including 35 years for Linda B., Charlie C., Christine I., Lisa L., Lynn M., and Debbie V.; 40 years for Beth B.; and 45 years for Nancy E.!
In addition, Options recognized community partners for their contributions to the lives of Options clients. HACAP was awarded Volunteer Partner of the Year and The Create/Exchange was honored as the Community Business of the Year.
HyVee donated cake and punch. The event included a dance with staff member Jess Huber providing the music.
Many thanks to all who helped Options achieve another year of success!
