[ARCHIVED] Linn County August 1 Special Election: Polling Place Updates

August 1, 2017 is election day to choose a representation plan for Linn County. Polls will be open from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. Voters may find their polling location at: http://www.linncountyelections.org/lookup/

Please note the following:

  • Robins Community Center, Precinct ROB for Robins City, located at 265 S 2nd Street, is undergoing roadway construction. Voters will need to access their voting location via County Home Road and North Troy Road. They should cross Main Street to access parking at the Robins Community Center.

  • Prairie High School, Precinct TCOL for College Township, located at 701 76th Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, will still vote in the same building. However, voters will be voting in the auditorium rather than in a study hall classroom. Voters are encouraged to enter from 76th Avenue and park in the parking lot near the auditorium entrance.

  • Grant Township, Precinct TGRA in Walker, had a typographical error in its voting location. The correct address is Walker North Pavilion, 398 Park Street, Walker, IA. We apologize for any inconvenience.
