Linn-Mar High School is hosting a satellite voting station at its Football Stadium, located at 3451 10th St., Marion, Iowa, on Friday, August 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. This satellite is for the school board election. Absentee ballots will be available only for Linn-Mar voters.
Kirkwood Community College is hosting a satellite voting station at Iowa Hall, Mansfield Center on Tuesday, August 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Iowa Hall is located at 6301 Kirkwood Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is for the school board election. Absentee ballots will be available for voters in the following school districts: Alburnett, Cedar Rapids, Center Point-Urbana, Central City, College Community, Linn-Mar, Lisbon, Marion, Mount Vernon, North Linn, and Springville.
These voting opportunities are in addition to voting at the Linn County Auditor’s Office. It is open for in-person, absentee voting Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through September 11, 2017. Election Day is Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
