[ARCHIVED] There’s Still Time to Participate in Linn County’s Logo Redesign Challenge

Linn County is redesigning its logo and is seeking submissions from eligible persons and/or companies. Only one (1) submission is allowed per person or company. Persons must be Linn County residents and firms must be located in Linn County, Iowa. The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017.

Linn County needs a logo that can lend itself to a variety of uses and must be highly functional in the following uses-not limited to:

  • Letterhead, envelopes, business cards
  • Decals (print/embroidered)
  • Signage
  • Promotional items (e.g., pens, water bottles, coffee mugs, key chains)
  • Website
  • Horizontal and vertical display

In addition to the logo, the County is seeking a companion county seal. The new logo and seal will be used to visually identify Linn County. The logo may also be used to update the Linn County flag. The individual or firm selected will receive $2,500 in compensation.

Submissions can be made through Linn County’s online portal or via email. Instructions and eligibility requirements are available on Linn County’s website at
