Linn County is seeking two members of the public to serve on its Logo Review Committee as part of the County’s Logo Redesign Challenge. The committee will also include seven Linn County employees for a total of nine members. The committee will review and rank the submissions to Linn County’s Logo Redesign Challenge. The committee’s input will be shared with the Linn County Board of Supervisors for a final decision.
The committee will hold its first meeting Tuesday, Dec. 12 at 3 p.m. at the Linn County Public Service Center. Additional meetings will be scheduled if needed.
Individuals interested in serving on the committee must be Linn County residents. This is a voluntary role and members will serve without compensation. The deadline to apply is Thursday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m.

- Request an application by emailing [email protected]; or
- Fill out an application in person at the Board of Supervisors office in the Linn County Public Service Center, 935 Second St. SW in Cedar Rapids from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Linn County offices will be closed Nov. 23 and 24 for Thanksgiving.
About Linn County’s Logo Redesign Challenge
Linn County is redesigning its logo and requested submissions from eligible Linn County residents and companies. In addition to the logo, the County is seeking a companion county seal. The new logo and seal will be used to visually identify Linn County. The deadline for design submissions was 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2017. More than 30 designs were submitted.
