The Linn County Board of Supervisors is accepting Mental Health and Disability Services fund applications. Eligible non-profit organizations must be located in Linn County and provide mental health and disability services to Linn County residents.
The application deadline is 5 p.m. on February 15, 2018.
The online application and eligibility requirements are available on the Linn County website at www.linncounty.org. This is a competitive grant process.
The fund balance grants are made possible due to the Iowa legislature restricting the amount of dollars a county can have in fund balance reserves for mental health and disability services. Linn County must spend down its Mental Health and Disability Services fund balance reserves by June 30, 2020.
