Continue Social Distancing Measures

Governor Reynolds is loosening some restrictions for 77 counties in Iowa beginning May 1. Linn County is not one of them. Current social distancing measures and closures remain in place in Linn County through May 15, unless extended by the Governor.

It is important for everyone to continue social distancing practices of maintaining a minimum of 6-feet between themselves and others, practicing the 3 C’s, staying home except for essential reasons, and avoiding large groups. Remember, every interaction you make has an impact on someone else. If we all do our part, we can save lives.

Read the Governor’s full proclamation and visit Linn County’s website LinnCounty.org/COVID-19 for local updates and related information.
