Temporary Trail and Parking Lot Closure A nearly 1/2 mile stretch of the Cedar Valley Nature Trail south of Cedar Rapids and north of 76th Ave Drive is closed for trail reconstruction. We anticipate this short segment to be closed for approximately one month, weather permitting. In a separate project, the County Home Road parking lot at the Cedar Valley Nature Trail is also closed for approximately the next two weeks. Soon, this parking area will be permanently hard surfaced. The Cedar Valley Nature Trail itself is not expected to be affected by the parking lot paving project.
