REMINDER: Planning & Zoning Commission Meeting for Coggon Solar LLC Utility-Scale Solar Application The Linn County Planning & Zoning Commission will meet Monday, Nov. 29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Linn County Fairgrounds to review the Coggon Solar, LLC Solar Farm Application. The meeting is open to the public with both in-person and virtual attendance options. This meeting is part of a series of public meetings for review of the Coggon Solar LLC utility-scale solar application. All utility-scale solar applicants in Linn County must undergo a review by the Technical Review Committee, the Planning & Zoning Commission, and three readings by the Board of Supervisors. The review process is designed to review all applications thoroughly against the development standards outlined in Linn County’s utility-scale solar ordinance. REMINDER: Linn County Offices Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, most Linn County governmental offices will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 25 and 26. Regular business hours resume on Monday, Nov. 29. The Linn County Public Health lab will be accepting water samples Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 22 and 23 only of the holiday week. Regular drop-off hours will resume on Monday, Nov. 29.

Board of Supervisors Meeting Recap The following is a recap from the Linn County Board of Supervisors meetings the week of Nov. 19-24, 2021. The Board of Supervisors:
- Met with and received updates from the following departments: Linn County Community Services, Conservation. Public Health, Soil Conservation, and Veteran Affairs
- Approved motion to order a recount of votes for the City of Prairieburg At-Large Council Member race held on Nov. 2, 2021, retroactive to Nov. 11, 2021, pursuant to Chapter 50.48(1a)
- Approved motion to order a recount of votes for the City of Marion At-Large Council Member race held on Nov. 2, 2021, retroactive to Nov. 9, 2021, pursuant to Chapter 50.48 (1a)
- Approved motion to order a recount of votes for the City of Fairfax Mayor race held on Nov. 2, 2021, retroactive to Nov. 10, 2021, pursuant to Chapter 50.48 (1a)
- Recount board Results Report(s), Canvass, and Amend Abstract(s)
- Canvassed votes: Control County for Community College Elections
- Approved extension of the Board of Supervisors policy FM-038 Investment Policy
- Approved resolution for a 2-lot final plat to be named Mosbeck First Addition
- Approved a resolution for a final plat to be named Nowak First Addition
- Approved purchase orders for a hydraulic hammer attachment in the amount of $6,237.50 for the Secondary Road Department; two 2022 Ford Transit LXT vans in the amount of $81,262 for Options; and four Zbooks lapbooks from HP Inc. in the amount of $8,768 for the Engineers Office
- Approved the Linn County Sustainability & Resiliency Advisory Committee rules and operating procedures
