How are precinct boundaries drawn?

Precinct boundaries can have no more than 3,500 people when precincts are created.

Precincts must be nested within house districts and cannot cross these lines.

When drawing precinct boundaries, our office cannot take into consideration where polling places are and where elected officials live.
